He can turn Invisible!
(When he is invisible his scent also disappears)
Human Physical Description|
He has light brown (like his wolf picture) hair that's kind of long... It comes down his neck. It's curly and usually kept messy. His eyes are a deep blue (think of a blue jay's color). He's pretty tall, about 5' 10" or so, and he has a normal build.
Animal Physical Description|
• Light brown coat
• Yellowy eyes
• Average-size...
Personality|
Jay is definitely a people person. Though his intentions aren't always good, he comes off as a smooth guy people want to be friends with. Slow to anger and quick to make a joke he is not the kind of guy one would expect to be in such a shady business. He slips into a bar and becomes the center of attention, making people laugh and cheer so much they forget to keep close watch on their wallets. Before they know it, that nice young man has disappeared and come to think of it, didn't I have two twenties in my wallet?
Beneath his appearance, Jay has a lot of built up anger against the Borislavs and feels no guilt in his trade. He thinks fighting over race is stupid. Since he basically raised himself, the idea that Danicans were scum wasn't drilled into his brain like it should have been. Jay was brought up in a place where your brains and your strength defined you and that's how he judges the world. Pushovers deserve to be pushed over, and trust isn't something you give away freely.
Views|
Jay has no interest in a war based on: Borislavs are better than Danicans and vice versa.
If war did break out, he'd be more likely to try and find a way to profit from it... But a guy like him, he could be convinced into taking up arms... for a price.
He trust no leaders, and if he doesn't get his paycheck, heads will roll.

Mother- Jessica Connor (deceased)
Father- Patrick Connor (deceased)
History|
Jay has no memory of his mother. Convinced that Patrick did not love her, she rejected her baby and left Jay's father before the boy had learned to walk. She died of an illness later on, and Jay's father was buried next to her. Jay's father was a hard military man. He cared deeply for his wife, but he could not express his feelings the way she expected him to. Then when she left, he found no reason to come home often like he used to, in fact he hated coming home to sleep in a cold empty bed, so he left Jay with a nurse and remained in combat until one day he was killed in action.
Jay inherited his house and a small fortune at the age of three, but with no living relatives, he was put in an orphanage to live until he was old enough to live on his own (fifteen). It was a tough environment for any child to grow up in, but Jay seemed to thrive in it. He became Mr. Popular of the orphans, admired for his gutsy pranks and his knowledge of the outside world, which he visited frequently (aka he ran away alot). When caught, he was dragged back to the orphanage and punished, usually with a whipping.
One day, when Jay was twelve, he was out in the streets practicing pickpocketing when the orphanage dogs spotted him. He had no choice but to run, and the brutes were close on his heels. His heart pounding and his breath running short he knew he was moments away from capture. He made for a crowd on the busy square and mixed among them, hopeful that the brutes wouldn't beat him too hard in public with all the witnesses. Though getting back to the orphanage would be another story... Then to his surprise, the brutes didn't follow him into the crowd... In fact, they ran right past as if they hadn't seen him turn at all. He continued to watch with fascination as they finally slowed to a halt and looked at each other with pure confusion. His attention was diverted then when someone in the crowd bumped straight into him, as if they hadn't even seen him there. It was that day Jay discovered he had the power to turn invisible, a secret he has kept all these years.
When he was in the orphanage, Jay may have seemed like he was everyone's friend, but those friendships were mostly superficial to him. He only ever really opened up to a girl named Lily. She was a bit older than him and she really opened his eyes to the world. He was all fun and games before, but Lily helped him to see the bigger picture. She always listened to his ideas and even laughed at his stupid ones, and though they didn't always agree, at the end of the day Jay knew he could always count on her.
Late one night a group of angry men came to the orphanage, looking for someone, a halfbreed, among them. Jay heard them describe a girl; short blond hair, with a tattoo of a star on her wrist and he couldn't believe his ears. It was her. The men dragged her out of her room and out the door, and though she struggled when they tried to bind her hands, the girl made no screams of protest. Jay ran to her, pushing through the men, not caring that he stood no chance against them. He shouted her name, shouted that she belonged there that she was one of them, that all this must be a mistake. She finally looked at him then, as the men were shoving her into a car, and just shook her head. He saw her lips moving and though he couldn't hear her voice, he knew she said, "I'm sorry." Jay never saw her again.
When Jay turned fifteen, he was finally allowed to leave the orphanage and move back into the house he was born in. He couldn't stand the solitude for long though, and went back to the place where he really felt at home, the streets. He spent most of his time there, making friends with the most powerful gangsters, and even building up a bit of a reputation for himself. The great thing about his power was that it made him impossible to catch. He has sort of become a thief for hire; he's the best at what he does, so people often request his services. He's spied, stolen, and even killed a few rats along the way. He started to collect a plethora of weapons and has become pretty handy with them all, but you know when you have the element of surprise even a big stick will do.
