Nippon has been at peace for a few years now; both Amaterasu's and Chibiterasu's victories are in the past. The land is calm, content ... but peace doesn't last long. It never lasts long. Amaterasu's memories are slowly fading; her sanity is slipping. Rumors of some mysterious orbs -- apparently, the physical manifestation of the goddess's memories and power -- are traveling through the land like wildfire. Now the hunt is on for these orbs; those who possess all of them will possess the power of the sun itself. Amaterasu is losing her mind. Both the good and the bad of Nippon want her power. It is twilight, and night is fast approaching. Nippon's scales of order and chaos have been reset.
Now that the Land of the Rising Sun is falling into darkness, there is only one question; will the sun ever rise again?
